Tennis Courts
A new Tennis facility was completed in 2006.
Tennis is a year round sport at Dataw. The temperate climate
invites spirited play almost every day. Lessons, tournaments
and clinics are scheduled throughout the year. With 8 Har-Tru
Courts there is never a shortage of play. Four of the courts
are lighted for evening play. |

Exercise facility
The Community/Fitness Center includes an
Aerobic/Exercise Studio with a specially designed floor that
cushions high impact activity, making workouts easier on the
knees, ankles and other joints. A variety of aerobics and
exercise classes are offered. Treadmills, stair climbers, free
weights and a wide selection of weight machines are featured in
the Weight Room. Workout while you watch your favorite TV
program. Ease post-exercise aches and pains in the whirlpool.
The new year-round pool is covered and heated. Residents are
able to enjoy lap and recreational swimming, water aerobics,
physical therapy exercise and water sports any time.
The Community/Fitness Center also offers a space to exhibit arts
and crafts and multi-purpose activity rooms designed to hold
small meetings, card parties, or craft and hobby groups such as
quilting, needlework, book and investment clubs and flower
arrangers. |
